Whether you're a contractor or a homeowner we can help set your home, office, or shop up for long-term comfort and energy savings.

It's a no-brainer to invest in spray foam insulation when building a new home, shop, or commercial space. The EPA has determined that between 25% and 40% of energy used for heating and cooling is lost through air leakage. Spray foam insulation creates an air tight seal that reduces energy costs up to 20%. Ideal Insulation is efficient and effective in sealing the building envelope so that your home insulation is done right the first time.

Frequently Asked Questions

Things to know about spray foam insulation...

What is spray foam insulation? What type do you use?

Spray foam insulation is a two-part liquid insulation material that is applied with a spray gun to insulate homes, commercial spaces, and industrial buildings. The foam quickly expands creating an air tight seal whether applying the insulation over large spaces or in tight crevices.

Ideal Insulation uses closed cell spray foam insulation which is more dense providing a higher R-value (greater heat flow resistance), an impermeable water barrier, adds strength to the structure, and has an 80 year lifespan.

What are the benefits of spray foam insulation?

The air tight seal from closed-cell spray foam insulation provides:

Improved Comfort. Experience evenly controlled temperatures from room to room, fewer drafts, unconditioned air, moisture, and even less noise in your home after applying spray foam insulation.

Keep the Outdoors Out. Improved air quality is a great benefit of creating an air tight seal. Fewer allergens, dust, radon, and pests can make it into your home after we seal up the building envelope.

Moisture Barrier. Because it is water impermeable, FEMA recognizes closed-cell spray foam insulation as a protection against damage in the case of flooding.

Reduced Condensation. The high R-value, air tight seal, and water-resistant properties of spray foam insulation prevent condensation from building up in walls during winter and summer months. Less moisture plus a mold and mildew resistant property in our insulation keeps your home a healthy place year round.

Energy Savings. Save up to 20% on your energy bills each month by choosing spray foam insulation. In addition, the energy efficiency of a well sealed home can result in needing smaller heating and air conditioning units, saving you money on your HVAC systems as well!

Is it safe?

Spray foam can be toxic if applied incorrectly, that's why our highly-trained professional team follows all manufacture guidelines. We make sure the job is done right so your home is safe to live in for years to come.

During application, spray foam gives off dangerous fumes so our team wears protective gear and respirators to keep them safe. We'll also place large fans in your home or commercial space to provide proper ventilation. After 24 hours the insulation is cured, produces zero off-gassing, and everyone can return to work as usual.

It sounds messy... How do you keep my space clean?

Our team works by the motto, "Leave the space as clean or cleaner than we found it." Spray foam insulation application is precise but there can be overspray at times. We'll make sure to mask off any areas (doors, floors, windows) that are not being insulated and will clean up any overspray that may occur before we consider the job done.

Can you find out where I'm losing hot/cold air?

Yes! If you're feeling drafts, having uneven heating/cooling between rooms, or are wondering if there's enough insulation throughout your home then a thermal imaging scan is the best place to start. After the scan, Kyle will let you of any significant air leaks and propose a plan for sealing up your home to increase energy efficiency.

How quickly can you get to my project?

Our customer's experience is one of our top priorities so we'll return any phone calls or requests through our contact form within 24 hours during the business week. Once we connect and collect the necessary information, we'll be able to give you a timeline on when we can get to your project.

Are there any tax credits/rebates?

Thanks to its energy efficiency, spray foam insulation application may quality for tax credits and/or rebates. To search for local and state incentives, visit the Database of State Incentives for Renewables & Efficiency (DSIRE) at http://www.dsireusa.org/.
